Students in grades 6-8 have the exciting opportunity to tryout for the Cranbury School Science Olympiad Team! The Science Olympiad is a club that focuses on competition and teamwork while getting your children excited about Science. Successful participation in the Science Olympiad requires a passion for science, self-discipline, motivation, time management skills and teamwork. The Cranbury School team is limited to 18 members. For this reason, we will schedule a team tryout.
We will be holding a parent information session prior to team tryouts for the parents of students who are interested in the process. The session will be held Monday, October 7th at 7:00 pm in Room 1 (denotes a time change from what was printed on the hardcopy district calendar). We will discuss:
-
Program Expectations
-
Program Guidelines
-
Meeting and Tournament Information
-
Parent questions
The Science Olympiad at Cranbury School has been very successful in the past and the students have enjoyed learning Science while working collaboratively with their teammates.
